Young Archie
Year 9 student, Maddy Gilmour, year 11 student, Bella Thompson-Hope and year 12 student, Georgie Donohue, each entered and placed in the 2021 Young Archie Prize - a portraiture competition for Gippsland youth.
This was an art prize run in conjunction with the Archibald Prize at the Wellington Shire Art Gallery (Gippsland Art Gallery) in 2021. Peter Wegner, the winner of this year's Archibald prize, judged and presented the Young Archie's awards.
Maddy's portrait 'Samithri' has been awarded the Crowd Favourite award for her age category and was also selected as the overall winner for the 12 - 15 years age category.
Bella Thompson-Hope's portrait 'Pa' was voted the crowd favourite for the 16 - 19 years age category.
Georgie Donohue's 'Distorted Self Portrait' was selected as the overall winner for the 16 - 19 years age category.

Year 12 Studio Art
In 2021, year 12 studio art students pursued an individually chosen theme, to guide their studio processes throughout the year. Students experimented with different media, studied artists and exhibition spaces and developed their creative processes and techniques in order to produce a folio of trial art pieces as well as two final artworks.

Media Studies
Year 12 Media Studies students have investigated and established an understanding on different media forms, as well as media codes, convention and processes to influence their final productions. Over the course of the year, each student explored their chosen media form (film, photography, animation or print) and created a narrative based production.
Additionally, students studied the regulations surrounding media, as well as the relationship between both consumers and producers.

Year 12 Distance Education Art students have communicated online, whilst creating intimate folios focused on a personalised theme. They researched artists both contemporary and antique artists as well as their works. Following the folio process and structural frameworks to create two final artworks as well as completing medium trials to strengthen technique.
